A History of Our Lodge
The building was dedicated on St John The Baptist Day, June 25th, 1917, which was a Sunday. The Masonic bodies that meet here to this day are Lodge No. 61 Free and Accepted Masons, Landmark Lodge No. 442, Fidelity Lodge No. 474, Shekinah Royal Arch Chapter 182, Mt Horeb Council 34, Dieu Le Veut Commandery 45 Knights Templar, Prince Hall Golden Rule Lodge No. 15 Masons, District 12 School of Instruction, the Shrine Clown group, and the Susquehanna Chapter of the DeMolay, which is a youth organization for young men.

The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania issues our charter.
A group of Wilkes-Barre brethren petition the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania and receive a charter to hold regular communications in the growing Wyoming Valley coal town.
